Gem Photo Lux is a unique and our exclusive product (3 pending patents); it is a complete, simple and cheap photographic studio dedicated for jewellery, goldcraft, metallic and glass objects.

It is the result of 3 years of optical, mechanical and lighting design in cooperation with Italians goldsmiths, who require an easy to use, cheap, robust equipment, that must not require a particular camera (often already bought) nor a specific photographic knowledge: our GEM PHOTO LUX is the answer, it can be used by any jeweller or goldsmith, even if without experience, to take in few seconds very good pictures and videos of every kind of jewel, from the smallest (earrings, stones) to the largest (necklace over neck support)

How does it work?
a) it surrounds by a 360° diffused light the subject, who can be large up to 40x30cm (max. photographic area), thanks to the pyramid illuminator (patented): no light adjustment are required giving images shadows and reflections free, with perfect colour result, even inside stones and over metallic surfaces;

b) it allows to choose best view angle from horizontal to the vertical, keeping the same distance (images always in focus), by the balanced rotating arm (patented): the supports for rings or watches are not anymore required;

c) easiest way to change the dimension of the jewels simply using the zoom command of the camera.

All these characteristics allows the easiest and fastest (5-10 sec.) work for each picture, that is only:
1) insert jewel inside the pyramid,
2) choose the best view: angle by the rotating arm, dimension by the camera zoom,
3) shoot!

For the total absence of shadows, the jewel appears "suspended in the air" with a uniform background, with 2 important advantages:
1) it is not necessary to lose time with graphic program to "cut" the jewel image from the background.
2) you can rotate the "raw" images always with natural result, avoiding to use the rings, bracelets and watches supports, so you'll save time and work both before and after the photo shooting.
